First of all, a little history about the vibrator/dildo. People have been using various objects for sexual penetration for centuries. Evidence of dildos have been found by archeologists for years, both in ancient Egyptian and ancient Greek digs. They usually measure five to seven inches in length and one to two inches in width, mimicking the size of an actual penis. Vibrators designed for anal stimulation are typically smaller.
Penetratable sex toys are often made from latex, jelly, silicone, cyberskin, metal, rubber, glass, acrylic, or lucite.
People are often concerned that they could get addicted to their sex toy. That if a woman loves her vibrator so much she won’t need or want a live person, and she won’t want to leave the house. Of course, this is a bit of a misconception.
No sex toy can replace the intimacy of a lover. In fact experiencing an orgasm, whichever way, opens the door for you to have orgasms in other ways, (like intercourse). An orgasm produced by a vibrator can be quicker and more intense because it offers direct stimulation of the clitoris and the pressure is more powerful.
Rather than using the term “addiction”, I would say it’s more like you get used to sex in only one way. It’s the same thing if all you engaged in was oral sex–yes it’s great but it doesn’t mean that you don’t want variety.
